07: How I Publish 50+ Blogs/Month for my 4 Businesses

Hey friends!

Today, I want to answer a common question I get:

The answer: A well-planned system & an amazing team.

Unfortunately, most SEOs, marketers, & entrepreneurs don’t take the time to set up good systems & processes.

They just think, “I want to put out blog content. I’ll just do as much as I can.”

Sound familiar?

BIG mistake.

Let’s dive into it…

Step 1: Content Planning

I get in my customer avatar's shoes. I think about what they’re searching on Google and what their intent is.

I brainstorm high intent keywords. The ones they’re searching to buy my product or service.

I build content clusters. Main topics for my businesses with sub-topics and sub-sub-topics under them.

With these brainstorms, I have a list of Content Areas that I want to address with my SEO and content.

Step 2: Keyword Research

Second, I use Ahrefs to build on my ideas. I search keywords I brainstormed and find suggested ones from Ahrefs different features.

I research competition. I enter their URL in Ahrefs (or a similar tool) and look at what keywords they’re ranking for.

I make keyword clusters. Using Ahrefs (or similar tool), I find similar intent keywords to main keyword.

Now, I have a Content Plan and a broken down list of Keywords and Keyword Clusters that I can tackle.

Step 3: Blog Templates & Drafts

Third, I steal titles & H2s from 1st page SERPs. Using SEOWind or just searching on Google, I find what’s already winning.

I use blog templates. I make different ones in Wordpress for the most common types of blogs I’m writing.

• Listicles

• Ultimate Guides

• How To’s

• Comparisons

• Reviews

I build drafts in Wordpress with the templates and H2s I found so that I or someone on my team can go in and write the content.

Step 4: Writing Team

Fourth, I assign 5-10 blogs to each Writer. I use ClickUp or Airtable to plan, schedule, and assign the blog content to my Writers.

I write 10-20+ myself. Grind it out!

I set strict Due Dates and keep in touch with my Writers to make sure we’re on time and don’t miss any articles each month.

Step 5: Optimization

Fifth, I edit & proofread for Grammar. I run the article content through Grammarly.

I upgrade the content with my 20+ point SEO checklist.

I preview for design & then publish.

Step 6: Partners

Sixth, I get 10+ guest articles from our partners. They write on topics they specialize in and that apply to our audience.

I also interview partners for our Partner Spotlight blog interview articles. A simple 10 question written interview I then turn into a blog article.

Both simple ways to create SEO focused content without having to do the writing myself or from my Writers.

In Summary

I run an SEO system that’s repeatable & clear-cut.

I find keywords that my customers are looking for.

I tap into talented Writers from all over the world.

I build partnerships that turn into free blog content.

And I keep the ship headed in the right direction.
