Hey Savvy SEOs!

Tracking your website's SEO progress is crucial.

The more you focus on keywords you want to rank for, the better chance you’ll eventually rank for them.

But you can’t do that without knowing their rankings.

Here's how I keep tabs on our most important keywords:

1. Choose the top 15-25 keywords I want to rank for.

2. Create a new Google Spreadsheet. List them there.

3. Put dates for each month across the top columns.

4. Monthly, search our rank for each keyword.

5. Use Ahrefs free Keyword Rank Checker.

6. Enter the keyword, your domain, & location.

7. Grab the rank & put into your Google sheet.

8. Repeat for all keywords you're tracking.

- Compare to what's ranking 1st page on Google.

- Make a list of optimization changes for your page.
