Want top-quality SEO content written to attract more customers? Schedule a call with me to discuss how my team and I at TrioSEO can help make it a reality.
Hey hey,
Who here finds technical SEO intimidating?
I mean, I get it. But hear me out.
If you can click around in WordPress, Squarespace, or Shopify, you can handle 80% of it. No coding. No developers.
All you need is a few focused checks to keep your site clean and trustworthy in Google's eyes.
Looking for a shortcut? I can run through your site and tell you exactly what needs fixing. For free.
Technical SEO is reputation insurance. You do it once, maintain it monthly, and it protects everything else you're building.
No tech background? No problem.
Anyone can do these 9 technical SEO checks:

Make sure Google can access your site: Open your site and confirm it loads. Make sure you're on HTTPS. Check that key pages aren't accidentally marked "noindex" in your CMS settings.
Submit your sitemap: Go to Google Search Console, find your sitemap URL (usually /sitemap.xml), and submit it once. This helps Google and LLMs discover your pages faster.
Decide which pages should exist: List your main pages and blog posts. Ask: "Does this page help a real user?" Delete, merge, or noindex anything that doesn't. Weak pages dilute your authority.
Give every page one clear purpose: Focus each page on one topic. Use one clear headline, break sections into logical subheadings. Google and LLMs rank clarity, not complexity.
Write titles that explain outcomes: Every page needs a unique title. Include your main keyword naturally and explain what the reader will gain. Titles are one of the strongest relevance signals.
Improve site speed without touching code: Compress images before uploading. Delete unused plugins and tools. Avoid heavy themes and animations. Faster sites are crawled and trusted more.
Think "machine clarity," not tricks: Write clearly and directly. Avoid over-optimization. Focus on consistency and structure. Google and LLMs reward clean, understandable information.
Connect related pages together: Link between related blog posts and pages. Use descriptive anchor text (not "click here"). Make sure important pages aren't isolated. Internal links help Google and LLMs understand context.
Fix obvious errors regularly: Check for broken links. Avoid redirect chains when updating URLs. Remove duplicate or competing pages. Errors quietly reduce crawl efficiency and trust over time.
That’s it—the clean basics. All you need to handle technical SEO.
No fancy tricks. Just speed, indexability, and structure.
Run through this checklist once, then set up a monthly reminder to spot-check.
Now go build on it 🤘
