For context, ChatGPT got 1B daily searches just 8 months prior.
That’s more than double the number of searches in less than a year!
The scale is now too big to ignore.
And it’s not slowing down.
2/ Shifting from Ranking to Citations
We’re steadily shifting from aiming for rankings with Google SEO to earning citations with AI SEO.
The question now is no longer: “Are you #1 on Google?”.
It’s: “Is AI quoting your brand?”
Mentions matter, but where you appear in AI answers matters more.
If your brand is always cited first, your share of voice is strongest.
